Brittany Jett

Brittany Jett, also known as Miss Brittany to our student body, has been teaching on our staff for the past eight years. She is well-rounded in her dance arts education, having studied and now teaching ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap, lyrical, modern, beginning and intermediate pointe.

Brittany has been with the studio since the age of five and progressed through the program becoming an outstanding leader and member of the Patrick County Dancing Arts Center’s Performance and Competition Company, serving as the Dance Captain and warm up instructor during that tenure. She traveled extensively with the performing arts company studying at many dance conventions and seminars with some of the outstanding teachers throughout the country while also competing with and against many outstanding dance groups from the Southeastern U.S.

As she transitioned to teacher and coach for dancers in the PCDAC, she widened her studies and completed the Danc’eM program for creative and early childhood dance education, and also coupled this with studies of early childhood development at Concord University in West Virginia.

She was one of hundreds of dancers accepted into the American Dance Festival (ADF) held in Durham, N.C. during the summer of 2015, where she studied various forms of dance under the esteemed faulty on roster for the festival. She had a chance there to continue to improve and update her techniques especially in the modern and jazz fields of dance.

We are indeed pleased to have Ms. Jett as part of our teaching faculty.
